+ pilgrimage to naroongowie - sawn rocks

We awoke on the first day of our pilgrimage to Naroongowie in a small wooden house near the base of Sawn Rocks in Kamilaroi Country. Amazing pentagonal columns reaching up to the sky. Broken remains forming stairways to other worlds. It could be an Escher dream, or a Peruvian temple, but nature made this, she carved this place from her deep volcanic fires. Such a beautiful beginning to our journey, I felt the potential in us to ignite our fires and rise up in unison.
