My beautiful friend Pia just turned 40. Pia grew up on the northern beaches. Her childhood was filled with adventure by boat, exploring remote shorelines and untouched places. It was so special to be able to share in her birthday celebrations and in this magical place she grew up. I loved listening to her stories as they resurfaced in her mind, and to see the spark of connection she felt being on the boat and rediscovering her passion for being on the water. There is nothing more beautiful than seeing someone in their element.
There is a deep resonance here, it is an ancient place that has remained untouched by human settlement. The landscape is so incredible, it was like seeing the soul of Sydney, the deep magical current that lives beneath the buildings and concrete. I have never slept on the water before, never been so connected to the tidal movement of the ocean. It's so incredible how the body so quickly adjusts itself to the movement. Waking up to the still waters outside my window was so special. We can't wait for our next boat adventure!
