It is incredible how much magic lives on my doorstep. Goonengerry National Park in Widjabul Country in only 30mins from my house, and I had never heard of it before! There are no signs and no facilities, just a car park and a gate indicating where the trail starts. I loved the mystery of it all, not knowing where i was going and what I would find. Somehow we stumbled upon the spectacular waterfall and spent the afternoon sitting at the top in the trees, attuning with the landscape. I made a short film about my day which I’ll share at the end off this post. It is such a beautiful place, I cant wait to go back again and explore deeper into the forest, maybe even camping over night at the bottom.
